Arrests
Wednesday, 9:05 p.m., police arrested George A. Montes, 35, 2100 block of Versailles Drive, at Kingston Road and Buckworth Drive, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
Thursday, 3:33 a.m., police arrested Albert Gayden, 47, 1000 block of East Dixon Street, at Havens and Ohio streets, on charges of driving while suspended and possession of paraphernalia. Police also arrested Lanetta M. Eason, 40, same address, on a charge of public intoxication.
Thursday, 12:50 p.m., deputies arrested Mairus D. Beard, 35, Elkhart, on warrants for counts of petition to revoke a suspended sentence.
Thursday, 1:40 p.m., deputies arrested Jeffrey S. Click, 48, 600 block of South Bell Street, at the Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear.
Thursday, 2:32 p.m., police arrested two 12-year-old males in the 400 block of Murden Street, each on a charge of truancy.
Thursday, 4:20 p.m., police arrested Billy Ray Young, 22, 2900 block of Sharon Drive, at 1920 E. Markland Ave., on a charge of attempted theft.
Thursday, 4:36 p.m., police arrested Keland L. Brown, 24, Detroit, at Alto Road and U.S. 31 on charges of dealing in cocaine, possession of cocaine, false informing, possession of marijuana and a U.S. Marshal’s warrant for parole violation out of Detroit.
Thursday, 8:26 p.m., police arrested a 12-year-old male in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Street, on a charge of mischief.
Thursday, 8:30 p.m., police arrested Samuel D. Carpenter, 24, no address given, at Markland Avenue and Waugh Street, on a Tipton County warrant for failure to appear.
Thursday, 9:32 p.m., police arrested Ivan W. Caine, 31, Bunker Hill, at Taylor and Purdum streets, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.
Thursday, 11:13 p.m., deputies arrested Virgil Pyles, 27, 1300 block of North Purdum Street, at that residence on charges of possession of paraphernalia, possession of a syringe and noncompliance with in-home detention.
Friday, 12:45 a.m., deputies arrested Beth Ann Draper, 38, Greentown, on warrants for forgery and theft.
Friday, 3:06 a.m., police arrested a 17-year-old female in the 1200 block of West Taylor Street on charges of battery and runaway.
Friday, 3:23 a.m., police arrested Jackie D. Wilson, 31, 1600 block of West Taylor Street, at Lincoln and Berkley roads, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, never obtaining a driver’s license and a warrant for possession of a switchblade knife.
Friday, 5:11 a.m., police arrested Ivan E. Armstrong, 23, Detroit, at Vaile Avenue and Ohio Street, on a charge of public intoxication.
Sunday, 6:20 a.m., police arrested Joseph Sleeth, 24, at St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Room, on a charge of public intoxication, a class B misdemeanor.
