Howard County arrests

Sunday, 1:56 p.m., police arrested Johnny Spencer, 34, 1200 block of South Jay Street, at Virginia and Purdum streets, on misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a crime, and on a Clinton County warrant for failure to appear.

Sunday, 3:27 p.m., police arrested Tara D. Downs, 18, 500 block of West Jackson Street, in the 2100 block of East Boulevard, on a Class D felony theft charge.

Sunday, 5:24 p.m., police arrested Nicole M. Cooper, 21, 700 block of West Virginia Street, in the 1900 block of East Markland Avenue, on a Class D felony theft charge, and on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and false informing.

Sunday, 6:03 p.m., police arrested Mark Y. Pugh Sr., 42, Cicero, at Webster and Havens streets, on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended with priors.

Sunday, 7:39 p.m., police arrested Angela L. Trusty, 36, 1000 block of South McCann Street, at Washington and Sycamore streets, on a Class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Monday, 9:15 a.m., deputies arrested Bradley Begley, 28, Peru, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence and theft.

Monday, 9:50 a.m., deputies arrested Trista Ruane, 21, 2500 block of Walker Avenue, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 10:45 a.m., deputies arrested Derrick Chorrushi, 28, 1200 block of East Sycamore Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to stop after an accident.

Monday, 11:45 a.m., deputies arrested Jose Alvarez, 32, Gary, at the Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Monday, 12:04 a.m., police arrested Kimberly J. Fisher, 31, 2400 block of Hazlenut Drive, at U.S. 31 and Center Road, on misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and possession of marijuana.

Monday, 12:12 p.m., deputies arrested Brandon E. White, 20, Greentown, at U.S. 31 and 600 North, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. Deputies also arrested Eddie Spence, 44, Greentown, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and a possession of marijuana.

Monday, 3:16 p.m., police arrested Bethany R. Wright, 37, 800 block of West Virginia Avenue, at Firmin and Buckeye streets, on charges of possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a legend drug and possession of marijuana.

Monday, 4:15 p.m., deputies arrested Rodney Goble, 42, 500 block of East Gerhart Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.
