Howard County

Arrests

Wednesday, 10:40 a.m., deputies arrested Harry L. Young, 48, 800 block of East Hoffer Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 12:45 p.m., deputies arrested Douglas Horoho, 47, 900 block of West Walnut Street, at the Howard County jail, on warrants for failure to appear and petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Wednesday, 4:44 p.m., deputies arrested Jeffrey Peterson, 38, Cutler, at the Howard County jail, on warrants for two counts of failure to appear.

Thursday, 9:48 a.m., police arrested a 16-year-old male at Kokomo High School, 2501 E. Berkley Road, on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol.

Thursday, 10:10 a.m., deputies arrested Shannon Morgan, 39, Greentown, at the Howard County jail, on a body attachment warrant.

Thursday, 10:15 a.m., deputies arrested Joshua Pittman, 21, Galveston, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for public intoxication.

Thursday, 10:30 a.m.. deputies arrested Tremel Black, 23, 400 block of North Market Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Thursday, 10:40 a.m., deputies arrested Jason Ferguson, 28, Rochester, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for noncompliance with in-home detention.

Thursday, 8:56 p.m., police arrested Corneal Banks, 18, 500 block of North Delphos Street, in the 1100 block of East Taylor Street, on a warrant for domestic violence battery.

Thursday, 9:07 p.m., deputies arrested Jonathon Crafton, 22, Russiaville, at that his residence, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Thursday, 12:10 p.m., police arrested Andrew Slone, 29, 1400 block of North Waugh Street, in the 900 block of East North Street, on a charge of resisting law enforcement and a warrant for noncompliance with in-home detention.

Thursday, 10:23 p.m., police arrested Cassandra Hovis, 28, 300 block of East Taylor Street, at Market and Taylor streets, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, 2:02 a.m., police arrested Christopher Biehle, 25, Lafayette, in the 1700 block of South Purdum Street, on charges of public intoxication and criminal recklessness.

Thefts

Wednesday, 2:21 p.m., the theft of approximately $480 in cash was reported from Cow Fireworks, 501 S. Reed Road.

Wednesday, 9:16 p.m., the theft of curtains, dishes, a DVD player and DVDs and other household items valued at $6,355 was reported from the 4100 block of Springmill Drive.

Thursday, 6:10 p.m., theft of two laptop computers, jewelry and an iPod was reported from the 800 block of West State Street.

Arrests

Monday, 12:15 p.m., deputies arrested Shawn W. Chapel, 28, 1000 block of East Broadway St., Kokomo, on a charge of probation violation.

Monday, 2:20 p.m., deputies arrested Aaron L. Reemer, 31, 100 block of West Seventh Street, Peru, on a Miami County warrant.

Monday, 4 p.m., police arrested Brenda L. Phillips, 40, 300 block of West Eighth Street, Peru, on a felony charge of residential entry and a charge of trespass.

Monday, 11:31 p.m., deputies and Bunker Hill marshals arrested Teresa D. Barkley, 36, 1100 block of Barksdale Avenue, Peru, on a Howard County warrant charge of failure to appear in court.

Tuesday, 8:25 a.m., deputies arrested Cassandra Smith, 41, 2100 block of West Otter Creek Street, Peru, on a charge of domestic battery.

Tuesday, 8:55 a.m., police arrested Jody R. Murphy, 30, 2900 block of Hilltop Drive, Peru, on a charge of possession of marijuana less than 30 grams.

Tuesday, 8:20 a.m., deputies arrested Tricia Clem, 24, 100 block of East Third Street, Bunker Hill, on a Howard County warrant charge of revocation of a suspended sentence and possession of marijuana.

Tuesday, 12:33 p.m., deputies arrested Lori C. Daugherty, 38, 2500 block of Kelly Avenue, Peru, on a warrant charge of criminal mischief.

Tuesday, 4:25 p.m., deputies arrested Matthew S. Smith, 46, 2100 block of West Airport Road, Peru, on a warrant charge of violation of in-home detention.

Tuesday, 6:15 p.m., deputies arrested Timothy G. Wecht, 47, 400 block of West Third Street, Peru, on a warrant to serve 48 hours in jail.

Tuesday, 7:15 p.m., deputies arrested Shannon M. Richards, 31, 2300 East block of County Road 550 South, Peru, on a charge of domestic battery.

Wednesday, 1 a.m., police arrested Mathew Roberts, 25, 400 block of Monroe Avenue, Peru, on charges of resisting law enforcement and battery.

Wednesday, 11:45 a.m., state police arrested Hope Rubins, 43, 100 block of West Howes Street, Denver, on a felony charge of manufacturing methamphetamines within 1,000 feet of a park and

possession of more than three grams of precursors.
