Howard County arrests

Friday, 6:59 a.m., police arrested Anthony Lawrence, 40, 800 block of South Plate Street, at that residence, on a charge of domestic violence battery.

Friday, 11 a.m., police arrested Ellen Esslinger, 46, 2100 block of East Vaile Avenue, in the 1600 block of North Purdum Street, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Friday, 2:36 p.m., police arrested Zachary A. Bowlin, 20, 900 block of North Lindsay Street, in the 700 block of North Main Street, on a warrant for robbery.

Friday, 3:09 p.m., police arrested William T. Richard, 41, 4300 block of Ind. 18 West, at North and Webster streets, on charges of driving while suspended, possession of stolen property and a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, 8:42 p.m., police arrested Shawn Atkison, 18, 1500 block of North Purdum Street, at Apperson Way and Monroe Street, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Police also arrested a 17-year-old male on charges of obstruction of justice and possession of marijuana, and a 16-year-old male, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Friday, 11:25 p.m., police arrested Donald L. Hines, 50, Logansport, at Webster and Morgan streets, on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Friday, 11:39 p.m., police arrested Jennell Byrd, 45, 1100 block of South Buckeye Street, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear and a charge of possession of marijuana.

Saturday, 12:04 p.m., police arrested Francis Jackson, 33, 2200 block of Apperson Way North, at that residence, on a disorderly conduct.

Saturday, 2:04 a.m., police arrested James J. Sense, 23, 1300 block of South Delphos Street, in that block, on a charge of public intoxication.

Saturday, 3:58 a.m., police arrested a 17-year-old male at Harrison and Buckeye streets, on a charge of violation of terms on conditional release.

Saturday, 11:59 a.m., police arrested James A. Nelson, 53, 300 block of West Mulberry Street, in the 200 block of West Monroe Street, on a charge of public intoxication.
