Howard County arrests
Thursday, 9:25 a.m., police arrested a 17-year-old male in the 800 block of East Hoffer Street, on a charge of truancy.
Thursday, 1:16 p.m., police arrested Jacob DeWeese, 20, 5100 block of South Webster Street, in the 100 block of East Alto Road, on a charge of theft.
Thursday, 5:21 p.m., police arrested Patrick Abney, 51, 400 block of West Park Avenue, on Barkdol Street west of Washington Street, on a charge of public intoxication.
Thursday, 8:55 p.m., police arrested Tanya Sunday, 41, 1000 block of North Courtland Avenue, in the 1300 block of North Phillips Street, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Friday, 3:11 a.m., police arrested Raymond Prather, 22, Corwin, Mo., at Jefferson Street and Ruddle Drive, on charges of possession of cocaine and resisting law enforcement.
Thefts
Wednesday, 10:10 a.m., theft of a $2,000 scratch-off ticket was reported from Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road.
Wednesday, 8 p.m., the theft of copper wiring valued at $550 was reported in the 600 block of East Alto Road.
Thursday, 8:56 a.m., the theft of a Dell computer, cable and case was reported from Delphi Corp.
Thursday, 12:17 p.m., the theft of a hand-held Garmin GPS system and a DVD player valued at $300 was reported from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Morrow Drive.
