Police arrest 5 at Ultimate Place 2B
Kokomo police arrested five Illinois men at the Ultimate Place 2B early Saturday after receiving a call of gunshots at the nightclub.
Officers responded at about 3 a.m. and found several people fighting inside and outside the club at 5126 Clinton Drive.
Police said a fight between several females inside the club escalated into a bigger fight. There were no reports of anyone suffering gunshots, but one man did suffer a stab wound, according to police reports.
Arrested were Marcus A. Brown, 22; Tyrone Mitchell, 29; Morris Evans, 37; Quasi Lister, 30, all of Chicago; and Orlando Morris, 37, Richland Park, Ill. All five were charged with misdemeanor offenses including disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement. Evans also faces a charge of battery, the police report stated.
After calming the crowd, police were notified that one man had gone to Howard Regional Health System for treatment of a stab wound to his abdomen, according to a police report.
The injuries were not life threatening. The injured man, Carlton Brown, 21, Chicago, refused to cooperate or name the person who stabbed him. He was released.

Thursday, 2:12 p.m., police arrested Laquane A. Ware, 33, 800 block of Harvest Drive, at that residence, on a charge of domestic violence battery.
Thursday, 2:15 p.m., deputies arrested Richard L. McFall, 34, 2300 east block of 400 North, at 3200 North and 300 West, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Thursday, 2:20 p.m., police arrested Brian K. Turner, 42, 800 block of Rainbow Drive, in the 2300 block of South Washington Street, on a charge of theft.
Thursday, 2:40 p.m., deputies arrested Taurean Jones, 21, 2100 block of South LaFountain Street, at the Howard County Courthouse, on warrants for carrying a handgun without a permit and criminal recklessness.
Thursday, 6:05 p.m., police arrested Marisa B. Anderson, 20, Center Meadows Apartments, at the Kokomo Police Department, on a charge of theft/receiving stolen property.
Thursday, 7:39 p.m., police arrested Michael Ennis, 34, Galveston, in the 1300 block of South Locke Street, on a parole violation from Plainfield Correctional Facility.
Thursday, 8:06 p.m., police arrested Milton Williams, 29, 700 block of North Dixon Road, at 1200 block of East Murden Street, on a charge of driving while suspended.
Thursday, 9:22 p.m., deputies arrested George Boyer, 19, 600 block of East Vaile Avenue, at that residence, on charges of intimidation, resisting law enforcement, mischief, disorderly conduct and a warrant for noncompliance.
Thursday, 11:38 p.m., police arrested Charles E. Dunmore, 45, 200 block of North Market Street, at the Howard County jail, on a charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.
Friday, 12:05 p.m., police arrested Jimmy L. Duren, 35, 200 block of South Clark Street, at 800 E. Hoffer St., on a body attachment warrant and failure to appear.
Friday, 1:01 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old female and a 16-year-old female at Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road, each on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Friday, 1:20 p.m., police arrested Tyrone Cannon, 56, 2200 block of North Waugh Street, at Webster Street and Davis Road, on a charge of driving while suspended.
Friday, 2:35 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old female at Wal-Mart, 1920 E. Markland Ave., on charges of runaway and conversion.
Friday, 2:52 p.m., police arrested Nicholas Rayn, 24, 1600 block of North Courtland Avenue, on a warrant for invasion of privacy.
Friday, 5:19 p.m., police arrested Matthew Harpel, 36, Fremont, at Sycamore Street and U.S. 31, on a warrant for failure to appear and habitual traffic offender.
Friday, 7:35 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old female at Wal-Mart, 1920 E. Markland Ave., on a charge of conversion.
Friday, 10:45 p.m., police arrested two 14-year-old males and a 13-year-old male in the 400 block of Southlea Drive, each on a charge of battery.
Thefts
Wednesday, 4:14 p.m., the theft of a .22-caliber black single action Heritage revolver, a dark blue Dell laptop computer, a Nintendo Wii game system, six collectable knives, 70 DVDs, several Wii games and a set of 2005 mint coins valued at $2,020 was reported during a burglary in the 1000 block of East Fisher Street.
Thursday, 7:16 a.m., the theft of a white Ford dump truck and a yellow Case back hoe valued at $36,000 was reported from the 700 block of South Elizabeth Street.
Thursday, 7:52 a.m., the theft of a Blue Ray TV/VCR Surround Sound, an X-Box and DVDs valued at $2,007 was reported from the 800 block of East Vaile Avenue.
Thursday, 12:56 p.m., the theft of two X-Box game systems and four controllers, a Wii game system, a laptop computer and a Playstation 2 valued at $770 was reported from the 900 block of South Cooper Street.
Thursday, 2:18 p.m., the theft of a 46-inch RCA TV valued at $600 was reported from the 1000 block of East North Street.
Thursday, 8:24 p.m., the theft of tools and an 8-week-old brindle pit bull valued at $680 was reported from the 900 block of East Broadway Street.
Thursday, 8:53 p.m., the theft of a computer monitor, a computer tower and miscellaneous jewelry valued at $1,500 was reported from the 1800 block of Pontiac Drive.
