Police reports - Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009
Howard County arrests
Friday, 1:32 a.m., police arrested Cory L. Kellogg, 23, Marion, in the 1400 block of West Markland Avenue, on charges of carrying a handgun without a permit and public intoxication.
Friday, 1:54 a.m., police arrested Michael S. Smith, 35, 1600 block of North LaFountain Street, in the 500 block of West Richmond Street, on warrants for two counts of failure to appear.
Howard County thefts
Wednesday, 9:04 a.m., the theft of a black and glass entertainment center and a 20-inch Sony TV was reported from the 1500 block of South Main Street.
Wednesday, 11:30 a.m., the theft of guttering was reported from the 400 block of Apperson Way North.
Wednesday, 7:02 p.m., the theft of a hunting bow with scope and arrows, a 20-inch Mongoose bicycle, a case of Miller High Life beer and a canvass boat cover valued at $1,246 was reported from the 2300 block of Pebble Beach Drive.
Thursday, 2:31 p.m., the theft of a motorcycle ramp valued at $500 was reported from behind a garage in the 1300 block of North Purdum Street.
Thursday, 6:05 p.m., the theft of several earrings, a silver diamond bracelet and toilet paper was reported from the 400 block of West Lincoln Road.
Thursday, 8:35 p.m., the theft of a 1996 U-Haul 6-by-12 foot box trailer valued at $5,137.20 was reported from the 3700 block of South LaFountain Street.
Thursday, 10:31 p.m., the theft of a DVD, a Dale Earnhardt knife, two battery-operated lanterns, miscellaneous totes and items, two doors, two turbo lighters and miscellaneous tools valued at $253 was reported from the 2300 block of North Plate Street.
Friday, 12:09 a.m., the theft of an X-Box 360, PlayStation 2, expired armed forces ID with Social Security number and a Vizio TV valued at $1,250 was reported from the 1300 block of West Sycamore Street.
