Arrests

Wednesday, 8:15 p.m., police arrested Thomas A. McGrew, 35, 1600 block of South Plate Street, at 800 E. Hoffer St., on a warrant for five counts of theft.

Wednesday, 8:39 p.m., police arrested Clifton B. Heath, 27, homeless, at Monroe and Washington streets, on charges of public intoxication, false informing and a Madison County warrant for in-home detention violation and Howard County warrants for petition to revoke and failure to appear.

Wednesday, 8:45 p.m., deputies arrested James M. Long, 41, 4500 east block of 200 South, at that residence, on charges of two counts of battery, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and a warrant for failure to appear.

Thursday, 8:30 a.m., police arrested Mark D. McNew, 28, 1500 block of Quail Run Drive, at Sycamore Road and Ind. 931, on a felony attempted burglary charge.

Thursday, 4:57 p.m., police arrested Johnny Spencer, 40, 800 block of East Hoffer Street, at home, on a domestic battery charge.

Thursday, 5:15 p.m., deputies arrested Jason D. Tyler, 34, Rochester, at U.S. 31 and Ind. 22, on a felony charge of habitual traffic violator.

Thursday, 6:46 p.m., police arrested Gary A. Smith, 41, 600 block of Bradford Circle, at home, on a warrant charge of failure to appear.

Thursday, 7:57 p.m., police arrested Cory M. Long, 37, 3200 block of Bryan Street, in the 3100 block of North Washington Street, on felony charges of battery on a police officer and resisting law enforcement.

Thursday, 8:47 p.m., police arrested Cassandra M. Roberts, 32, 1000 block of West Taylor Street, at home, on a warrant charge of failure to appear, and on felony warrant charges of welfare fraud and fraud.

Friday, 2:15 a.m., police arrested Vrena M. Fry, 51, 200 block of North Market Street, in the 900 block of South Union Street, on a Fulton County petition to revoke.

Friday, 3:53 a.m., police arrested Kenneth A. Wesley Jr., 33, 800 block of West Carter Street, in the 2300 block of West Alto Road, on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Thefts

Tuesday, 10:56 a.m., the theft of miscellaneous jewelry valued at $13,150 was reported from the 900 block of West Sycamore Street.

Tuesday, 3:53 p.m., the theft of jewelry and electronics valued at $2,000 was reported from the 1000 block of East Gerhart Street.

Wednesday, 9:17 a.m., the theft of two iPads valued at $800 was reported from the 800 block of Shorebend Boulevard.

Wednesday, 10:25 a.m., the theft of cash was reported from a room at Super 8 Motel, 5110 Clinton Drive.

Wednesday, 11:37 a.m., the theft of $800 worth of clothing was reported from Kokomo Express Wash, 2002 Apperson Way North.

Arrests

Wednesday, 1:03 a.m., Windfall police arrested Marland H. Gibson, 44, 400 block of West Sherman Street, Windfall, on charges of pointing a firearm and criminal recklessness.

Wednesday, 12:52 p.m., deputies arrested Dustin M. Pearson, 33, 2000 west block of 330 North, Sharpsville, on charges of intimidation, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

Wednesday, 3:46 p.m., police arrested Nicholas R. Wood, 22, 500 block of East Jefferson Street, Tipton, on a charge of domestic violence battery, neglect of a dependent and possession of methamphetamines.

Wednesday, 8:31 p.m., police arrested Natasha C. Epperly, 24, 3900 south block of 500 West, Tipton, on charges of possession of a narcotic drug and neglect of a dependent.
