Howard County arrests

Wednesday, 7:23 a.m., police arrested a 15-year-old female and a 17-year-old female at Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road, each on a charge of truancy.

Wednesday, 8:20 a.m., deputies arrested Nathan Heartwell, 28, 3100 block of Terrace Drive, at the Courthouse, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 8:20 a.m., police arrested a 16-year-old male in the 2500 block of Apperson Way North on a charge of truancy.

Wednesday, 9:20 a.m., deputies arrested William L. Holcomb, 25, 800 block of North Jay Street, at the Courthouse, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Wednesday, 11 a.m., deputies arrested Julie A. Allen, 36, Paducah, Ky., at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Wednesday, 1:57 p.m., deputies arrested Jason L. Dillman, 28, 2700 east block of 300 East, in the 200 block of North Main Street, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Wednesday, 5:14 p.m., police arrested Francis Depalma, 42, 600 block of South Purdum Street, in the 800 block of East Markland Avenue, on a charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, 6:53 p.m., police arrested Cole N. Gabbard, 21, 2300 Beauvoir Court, at Washington and Spraker streets, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 7:23 p.m., police arrested Michael L. Shepard, 26, 2300 block of Pinehurst Lane, at that residence, on a warrant for petition to revoke and a probation violation.

Wednesday, 10:05 p.m., deputies arrested Shaun Wirick, 25, 600 block of South Purdum Street, at Purdum and King streets, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 10:33 p.m., police arrested Matthew D. Barlow, 37, 100 block of South Berkley Road, at Webster and Kirk streets, on charges of possession of heroin and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, 11:50 p.m., police arrested William L. Gaines, 59, 600 block of South Bell Street, at Markland Avenue and Jay Street, on a charge of possession of cocaine.

Thursday, 9:13 a.m., police arrested a 15-year-old female at Kokomo High School, on a charge of truancy.

Thursday, 9:48 a.m., deputies arrested Stephen B. Richey, 22, 1100 block of South Bell Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Thursday, 9:54 a.m., deputies arrested Michael J. Shoffner, 26, 100 block of South Buckeye Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for resisting law enforcement and false informing.

Thursday, 11:40 a.m., deputies arrested Thomas E. Gibson, 35, 1200 block of North Union Street, at the Howard County jail, on two warrants for failure to appear.

Thursday, 11:58 a.m., police arrested a 12-year-old male at McKinley School, on a charge of battery.

Thursday, 12:21 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old male at Kokomo High School, 2501 S. Berkley Road, on a charge of truancy.

Thursday, 2:35 p.m., deputies arrested Danielle Dowling, 30, Indianapolis, at the Marion County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Thursday, 2:54 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old male in the 2800 block of Heritage Drive, on a charge of dangerous possession of a firearm.

Thursday, 3:58 p.m., police arrested Dominique Beard, 19, Apperson Way North, at Smith Road and Washington Street, on two body attachment warrants.

Thursday, 6:20 p.m., police arrested Peyton N. Cripe, 19, 600 block of Southlea Drive, in the 1400 block of North Jay Street, on a charge of aiding, inducing or causing invasion of privacy. Police also arrested Sebastian Sweeney, 21, 1400 block of North Jay Street, at that residence, on a charge of invasion of privacy.

Thursday, 8:07 p.m., police arrested Shane Richardson, 22, 1000 block of Linda Drive, at that residence, on a charge of resisting law enforcement and a warrant for conspiracy to deal meth, possession of a chemical reagent or precursor with the intent to manufacture meth and visiting a common nuisance.

Friday, 3:17 a.m., deputies arrested Phillip C. Williams, 51, 1400 block of Gleneagles Drive, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear and a hold for Clinton County.

Friday, 4:13 a.m., deputies arrested Howard E. Diveley, 40, 1600 block of East Firmin Street, at that residence, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Thefts

Wednesday, 6:23 a.m., the theft of three radios and a belt valued at $150 was reported from a vehicle in the 2400 block of South Reed Road.

Wednesday, 12:21 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 900 block of East Walnut Street.

Wednesday, 2:21 p.m., the theft of two TV’s, a mattress, a bicycle, Christmas decorations, a dresser and children’s clothing valued at $2,800 was reported during a burglary in the 1100 block of East Jefferson Street.

Thursday, 3:29 p.m., the theft of a 1999 Chrysler Concorde LXI valued at $1,500 was reported from the 600 block of Southlea Drive.

Thursday, 7:07 p.m., the theft of a Boost Mobile cell phone valued at $219 was reported from Target, 1037 S. Reed Road.

Friday, 12:25 a.m., the theft of a 2011 Tao Tao scooter valued at $975 was reported from the 2500 block of Apperson Way North.
