Arrests

Thursday, 4:55 p.m., deputies arrested John W. Dozier, 40, Indianapolis, at the Howard County Courthouse, on a warrant charge of probation violation.

Friday, 9:50 a.m., deputies arrested John P. Silas III, 24, 500 block of Bradford Circle, at the Howard County jail, on felony warrant charges of resisting law enforcement and battery on a police officer.

Friday, 10:15 a.m., deputies arrested Jacob Waldman, 29, 5600 block of Wigwam Court, on a warrant for two felony charges of invasion of privacy.

Friday, 2 p.m., police arrested James L. McQueary, 43, 800 block of West Jefferson Street, in the 3500 block of South LaFountain Street, on two felony charges of intimidation.

Friday, 2:34 p.m., police arrested Janzen M. Wimmer, 20, 500 block of South Courtland Avenue, at home, on a domestic battery charge.

Friday, 3:25 p.m., police arrested Anthony W. Mock, 47, 800 block of South Washington Street, at home, on three warrants for failure to appear, and on a petition to revoke and on a body attachment warrant.

Friday, 4:16 p.m., police arrested James W. Maddox, 64, 1400 block of South Wabash Avenue, at home, on felony charges of possession of cocaine and maintaining a common nuisance.

Friday, 4:30 p.m., deputies arrested Danny Lee Chapman, 28, Sharpsville, at the Howard County jail, on a felony warrant charge of theft.

Friday, 5:16 p.m., police arrested a 16-year-old male, at Kohl’s, 2156 E. Boulevard, on a conversion charge.

Friday, 6 p.m., deputies arrested Talik R. Woodard, 41, 900 block of East Jefferson Street, at the Howard County jail, on a petition to revoke.

Friday, 6:43 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old male, at Walmart, 1920 E. Markland Ave., on a conversion charge.

Friday, 6:45 p.m., deputies arrested Tara J. Vandergriff, 25, 600 block of Rainbow Circle, at the Howard County jail, on a body attachment warrant.

Friday, 8:26 p.m., police arrested Kendall W. Mayfield, 22, 00 East/West and U.S. 31, at Markland Avenue and Main Street, on a felony marijuana dealing charge, and on a marijuana possession charge.

Friday, 8:31 p.m., police arrested Cornelius A. Green, 25, 2100 block of Chevy Court, at Home Avenue and Apperson Way, on felony charges of unlawful possession of a handgun by a felon, and recklessness.

Friday, 9:26 p.m., police arrested Karon A. Stutts, 25, Logansport, at Washington and Taylor streets, on a marijuana possession charge.

Sunday, 2:39 a.m., police arrested John A. McAninch, 39, 2900 block of Burningtree Lane, at Gleneagles Drive and Park Road, on a felony charge of resisting law enforcement, and on charges of operating while intoxicated, public intoxication and mischief.

Sunday, 11 a.m., deputies arrested Anthony D. Dunn, 21, 1100 block of East Mulberry Street, at the Genessee County Jail, Flint, Mich., on a felony warrant charge of murder, and on charges of failure to appear and petition to revoke bond.

Saturday, 3:37 p.m., police arrested Toussaint Lewis, 39, 1000 block of North LaFountain Street, in the 800 block of West Jackson Street, on a felony marijuana possession charge, and on a charge of resisting law enforcement, and on a warrant from the state of Georgia.

Sunday, 2:47 p.m., police arrested a 12-year-old male, in the 700 block of North Indiana Avenue, on a disobedience charge.

Sunday, 3:43 p.m., police arrested Linda G. Ellis, 66, 1100 block of South Wabash Avenue, at Woodland Avenue and Main Street, on a public intoxication charge.

Sunday, 9:21 p.m., Dwayne E. Jones, 44, 2100 block of West Jefferson Street, at Purdum and Jackson streets, on a charge of invasion of privacy, and on a petition to revoke.

Sunday, 10:45 p.m., deputies arrested Cody L. Moore, 37, Walton, on charges of petition to revoke and failure to appear.

Thefts

Friday, 8:23 a.m., a theft from a vehicle was reported in the 6700 block of East 50 North.

Friday, noon, a theft of a furnace was reported from a home in the 2900 block of South 300 West.

Saturday, 2:13 p.m., a theft of a red and black, Tao Tao moped was reported in the 1200 block of East Murden Street.

Saturday, 3:15 p.m., a theft from a residence was reported in the 4500 block of South 500 West.

Saturday, 4:46 p.m., a theft of a Midland CB radio and two Sony stereo systems was reported in the 1700 block of North Wabash Avenue.

Saturday, 8:52 p.m., a theft of an HP laptop computer was reported in the 2200 block of North Locke Street.

Saturday, 10:15 p.m., a theft of cash was reported in the 1100 block of South Emery Street.

Sunday, 7:19 a.m., a theft of a two-wheeled dolly, from a vehicle, was reported from Meijer, 2301 E. Markland Ave.

Sunday, 8:50 p.m., a theft of a Samsung Galaxy was reported in the 1100 block of Springhill Drive.
