Wednesday, 11:14 a.m., the theft of a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer valued at $1,000 was reported from the 1800 block of Carol Lynn Drive.

Wednesday, 11:53 a.m., the theft of $600 worth of tools was reported from a vehicle in the 1700 block of East Havens Street.

Wednesday, 4:47 p.m., the theft of miscellaneous jewelry valued at $300 was reported from the 2300 block of North Purdum Street.



July 18, 7:20 a.m., deputies arrested Adam W. Jarrell, 24, 2500 block of Ballmoral Boulevard, Kokomo, on a warrant for contempt of court.

July 18, 9:25 a.m., state police arrested Mark A. Smith, 54, 400 block of North Jefferson Street, Converse, on a violation of parole warrant.

July 18, 3:32 p.m., police arrested Robert A. Helderman Jr., 54, 1600 block of Michigan Avenue, Logansport, on a violation of parole warrant.

July 18, 9:35 p.m., police arrested Frederick A. Smith, 28, 200 block of West Franklin Street, Peru, on a charge of possession of precursors.

July 18, 11 p.m., police arrested Tiffany D. Lamaster, 28, 100 block of West Main Street, Peru, on charges of possession of precursors and visiting a common nuisance.

July 19, 2:20 p.m., deputies arrested Derek Herrell, 28, 13600 block of South 500 West, Peru, on a violation of parole warrant.

July 19, 2:50 p.m., deputies arrested David Barnes, 36, Richmond, on a failure to appear warrant.

July 19, 3:30 p.m., deputies arrested Teresa Elliott, 46, Hartford City, on two failure to appear warrant.

July 19, 10:20 p.m., police arrested Gregory Galloway, 26, 2900 block of East 1100 North, Macy, on a warrant for invasion of privacy.

July 19, 11:15 p.m., police arrested Lee E. Hawkins, 39, 5800 block of South U.S. 31, Peru, on a warrant for contempt of court.

Saturday, 7:55 p.m., state police arrested Robert Potts, 31, Elkhart, on charges of identity deception and life habitual traffic violation.

Saturday, 11:20 p.m., state police arrested Matt S. Smith, 50, 1100 block of Barksdale, Peru, on a charge of operating while intoxicated.

Sunday, 3 a.m., deputies arrested Joseph Overmyer, 31, 200 block of South Lincoln Street, Bunker Hill, on a felony charge of operating while intoxicated.
