Howard County


Sunday, 1:25 p.m., police arrested a 17-year-old male, in the 400 block of Amberwood Circle, on a battery charge.

Tuesday, 10:05 a.m., police arrested Charles W. Thompson, 20, 1000 block of South Plate Street, at Buckeye Street and Virginia Avenue, on charges of domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of a crime and confinement.

Tuesday, 10:15 a.m., deputies arrested Jason W. Higgenbotham, 24, Frankfort, at the Clinton County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Tuesday, 5:06 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old male, at Sears, 1235 S. Reed Road, on a charge of theft. Police also arrested a 12-year-old male on a charge of conversion.

Tuesday, 6:45 p.m., deputies arrested John D. Whitt, 30, Wabash, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for home improvement fraud.

Tuesday, 8:02 p.m., police arrested Ronald K. Abney, 54, 700 block of South Bell Street, at that residence, on charges of invasion of privacy and invasion privacy.

Tuesday, 9:21 p.m., police arrested Tyrell D, Taylor, 34, 800 block of North Bell Street, at Jefferson Street and Dixon Road, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Tuesday, 9:58 p.m., police arrested Rex A. Duke, 55, Lafayette, in the 2300 block of North Plate Street, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Tuesday, 11:06 p.m., police arrested Everett J. Johnson III, 24, 1500 block of North Lindsay Street, in the 200 block of Wickersham Drive East, on a charge of domestic battery.

Tuesday, 11:37 p.m., deputies arrested Donald S. Coy, 44, 2100 block of North Bell Street, at the Howard-Grant county line, on a warrant for possession of meth, dealing in meth and possession of precursors.

Tuesday, 11:54 p.m., police arrested James D. Gunter, 21, 1200 block of West Walnut Street, in the 600 block of Preble Street, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 1:37 a.m., police arrested Christopher Johnson, 42, 700 block of South Armstrong Street, at Community Howard Regional Health Systems, 3500 S. Lafountain St., on a warrant for resisting law enforcement.
