Howard County

Arrests

Thursday, 11:25 a.m., deputies arrested Joseph Olivarez, 37, Galveston, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for neglect of a dependent, leaving the scene of an accident and a body attachment warrant.

Thursday, 2:17 p.m., deputies arrested Lakisha D. Price, 28, 1100 block of West Taylor Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for fraud.

Thursday, 3:18 p.m., deputies arrested Katherine M. Watkins, 41, Swayzee, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for leaving the scene of an accident.

Thursday, 4:36 p.m., police arrested Anthony W. Mock, 47, 800 block of South Washington Street, at that residence, on three warrants for failure to appear.

Thursday, 7:24 p.m., police arrested Matthew Groves, 22, Peru, in the 100 block of West Butler Street, on two warrants for failure to appear.

Thursday, 7:38 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old male in the 1300 block of South Elizabeth Street on a charge of runaway.

Thursday, 8:05 p.m., police arrested Paul D. Newport, 61, 3500 west block of 250 South, at that residence, on a warrant for four counts of possession of precursors by a meth offender.

Thursday, 9:16 p.m., police arrested Michelle Skaggs, 39, 500 block of South Wabash Avenue, at that residence, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Thursday, 10:26 p.m., deputies arrested Djamil R. Roberts, 33, 1300 block of East Taylor Street, in the 2800 block of West Markland Avenue, on a charge of operating a vehicle while being a habitual traffic offender.

Thursday, 11:49 p.m., police arrested Everett J. Johnson, 24, 1500 block of North Lindsay Street, in the 700 block of South Courtland Avenue, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating while never licensed.

Friday, 5:13 a.m., deputies arrested Joshua D. Hyman, 34, 800 block of South Harvey Drive, at that residence, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Thefts

Thursday, 10:50 a.m., the theft of miscellaneous gold jewelry valued at $2,500 was reported from the 1200 block of North Philips Street.

Thursday, 3:30 p.m., the theft of a Playstation 3 game system, controllers, a game and a laptop computer valued at $850 was reported from the 1800 block of North McCann Street.

Thursday, 6:15 p.m., the theft of a wallet and contents valued at $366 was reported from a vehicle at Carter Street and Dixon Road.

Arrests

Thursday, 6:34 p.m., deputies arrested Shawn D. Brannum, 54, 500 block of North West Street, Tipton, on a charge of battery.
