Arrests

Tuesday, 8:20 a.m., deputies arrested Shawn E. Cooper, 30, Russiaville, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for attempted arson.

Tuesday, 10:10 a.m., deputies arrested Richard A. Lopez, 21, 3000 block of Apperson Way North, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for residential entry, domestic violence battery and battery.

Tuesday, 11:45 a.m., deputies arrested Jon D. Thompson, 20, 2900 north block of 00 East-West, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Tuesday, 12:12 p.m., deputies arrested Gary W. Peterson, 26, 800 block of East Center Road, at the Howard County Courthouse, on warrants for petition to revoke and failure to appear.

Wednesday, 6:30 a.m., police arrested Opal A. Hines, 45, 2200 block of Olds Drive, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 6:30 a.m., deputies arrested Aaron L. Woodard, 29, 500 block of Rainbow Circle, on a warrant for non-support of a child.

Wednesday, 8:22 a.m., police arrested Matthew J. Barnes, 39, 200 block of Rainbow Circle, at Marsh, 208 E. Southway Blvd., on charges of carrying a handgun without a permit and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, 9:24 a.m., deputies arrested Matthew A. Campbell, 22, Greentown, at that residence, on a warrant for possession of cocaine.

Wednesday, 11:01 a.m., deputies arrested Kevin Catron, 45, 700 block of South Purdum Street, at the Howard County Courthouse, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Wednesday, 5:52 p.m., deputies arrested Adam Van Horn, 28, Tipton, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for obtaining a controlled substance by fraud.

Wednesday, 10:05 p.m., police arrested Spencer L. Hayes, 41, 2600 block of North Washington Street, at that residence, on a charge of domestic violence battery.

Wednesday, 11:04 p.m., police arrested Christopher J. Roberts, 36, 1600 block of North Philips Street, at Lincoln Road and Tate Street, on charges of possession of stolen property and resisting law enforcement.

Thefts

Wednesday, 4:40 p.m., the theft of a Nintendo DS3 console valued at $300 was reported from the Kokomo Rescue Mission, 321 W. Mulberry St.

Wednesday, 5:17 p.m., the theft of a bow and arrow and an air compressor valued at $300 was reported from the 600 block of South Purdum Street.

Wednesday, 8:41 p.m., the theft of a red and white mo-ped valued at $1,100 was reported from the 1200 block of West Taylor Street.

Wednesday, 8:54 p.m., the theft of a black mo-ped valued at $1,000 was reported from the 500 block of East Sycamore Street.

Arrests

Nov. 15, 10:13 p.m., police arrested Jason A. Heneger, 28, 200 block of East Madison Street, Tipton, on a charge of domestic violence battery.

Saturday, 4:02 a.m., deputies arrested Clayton E. Beaman, 30, 5000 block of Council Ring Boulevard, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person.

Sunday, 5:23 p.m., deputies arrested Erick R. Blackburn, 27, Garden Square Apartments, Kokomo, on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.

Thursday, 12:14 a.m., police arrested Casey M. Owens, 22, 400 block of West North Street, Tipton, on a charge of neglect of a dependent.

Thursday, 2:10 a.m., police arrested Mark W. Shaffer, 54, 1600 south 25 West, Tipton, on a charge of domestic violence battery.
