Arrests

Wednesday, 9:37 a.m., deputies arrested Robert W. Lewis, 27, homeless, in the 900 block of South Buckeye Street, on a warrant for indirect contempt of court.

Wednesday, 11:20 a.m., deputies arrested Brandon J. Taylor, 28, 800 block of Rainbow Drive, at the Miami County jail, on a warrant for a parole violation.

Wednesday, 1:25 p.m., deputies arrested Peter J. Jergens, 44, Logansport, at the Tippecanoe County jail, on a warrant for possession of precursors.

Wednesday, 2 p.m., deputies arrested Steven McCauley, 22, 1900 block of North Morrison Street, at the Courthouse, on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, failure to stop after an accident and public intoxication.

Wednesday, 3:46 p.m., police arrested Christopher E. Dillman, 40, 800 block of East Gano Street, in the 1900 block of East Markland Avenue, on a warrant for residential entry, mischief and public intoxication.

Wednesday, 7:13 p.m., police arrested Christopher D. Bennett, 28, homeless, at Jay and Superior streets, on four warrants for failure to appear.

Wednesday, 7:38 p.m., police arrested Matthew Overman, 23, 5800 block of Seneca Trail, in the 600 block of Southlea Drive, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Thursday, 12:55 a.m., police arrested Dustin E. Prince, 22, 900 block of South Buckeye Street, at Vaile Avenue and Market Street, on a warrant for theft.

Thursday, 5:04 a.m., deputies arrested Jacob St. John, 28, 4200 south block of 700 East, at that residence, on a Hamilton County warrant for theft.

Thursday, 10 a.m., deputies arrested Dennis B. Miller, 48, 2500 block of North Armstrong Street, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for dealing in cocaine.

Thursday, 1:40 p.m., deputies arrested Vernon L. Smith, 32, 700 block of Twyckingham Lane, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for petition to revoke.

Thursday, 3:55 p.m., deputies arrested Kyle T. Huffer, 24, on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

Thursday, 4:30 p.m., deputies arrested Justin A. Smith, 30, Russiaville, at his residence, on a body attachment warrant.

Thursday, 5:16 p.m., deputies arrested Mark K. Shea, 24, 1000 block of South Main Street, at Markland Avenue and Cooper Street, on a warrant for aiding,. Inducing or causing robbery.

Thursday, 5:35 p.m., police arrested Alfredo Remigio, 24, 2500 block of West Sycamore Street, at Boulevard and Wabash Avenue, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and never obtaining a driver’s license.

Thursday, 8:48 p.m., police arrested Brian S. Baker, 43, 900 block of East Walnut Street, at that residence, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, 2:14 a.m., police arrested Henry C. Mertz Jr., 41, 3500 west block of 100 North, at 1833 S. Plate St., on charges of possession of marijuana and dealing in marijuana.

Thefts

Saturday, 4:23 p.m., a theft of stainless steel pipe was reported at E&B Paving, 2350 W. 50 South.

Monday, 7:33 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 4400 block of South 00 East/West.

Tuesday, 12:46 a.m., a theft of a Samsung Galaxy tablet was reported in the 2200 block of North Webster Street.

Tuesday, 8 a.m., the theft of a 15-inch Dell laptop was reported from a vehicle in the 1600 block of South Armstrong Street.

Tuesday, 9:28 a.m., the theft of a Virgin mobile cell phone valued at $120 was reported from the 1100 block of South Purdum Street.

Wednesday, 5:17 p.m., the theft of $101 in change and a purse and contents were reported from a vehicle in the 400 block of Arnold Court.

Friday, 2:09 a.m., the theft of a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 valued at $700 was reported from the 3800 block of Alameda Boulevard.
