Howard County

Arrests

Wednesday, 3:50 p.m., police arrested Gale W. Skaggs, 35, 1600 block of South Plate Street, at Monroe and Washington streets, on a warrant for three counts of aiding, inducing or causing fraud, aiding, inducing or causing fraud on a financial institute and aiding, inducing or causing receiving stolen property.

Wednesday, 5:04 p.m., police arrested Lori D. Hite, 51, and Brock A. Blackburn, 59, both of the 1200 block of North Union Street, at that residence, each on charges of manufacturing methamphetamines, possession of meth and possession of an illegal drug lab.

Wednesday, 5:06 p.m., deputies arrested James M. Pyle, 30, 600 block of Tomahawk Boulevard, at the Howard County jail, on a warrant for mischief.

Wednesday, 5:29 p.m., police arrested Mark D. Cannon, 54, 2400 block of East Jefferson Street, in the 100 block of East Broadway Street, on a body attachment warrant.

Wednesday, 5:34 p.m., police arrested a 13-year-old male at Storybook Express, 316 E. Sycamore St., on a charge of conversion.

Wednesday, 6:26 p.m., police arrested Ashley N. Crews, 21, 800 block of East Dixon Street, in the 100 block of East Center Road, on a charge of driving while suspended.

Wednesday, 7:16 p.m., police arrested Jacob S. Waldman, 29, 2700 block of North Washington Street, at that residence, on a charge of invasion of privacy.

Thefts

Wednesday, 9:59 a.m., the theft of a washer and dryer and a 52-inch projection TV valued at $600 was reported from State Street Storage, 1299 S. Home Ave.

Wednesday, 5:07 p.m., the theft of a GPS unit valued at $150 was reported from a vehicle in the 300 block of Poplar Street.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m., the theft of a Mac Book, gold clubs and tools was reported from A American Storage, 1602 E. Center Road.

Wednesday, 7:46 p.m., the theft of an Xbox 360 and games and a 21-inch TV valued at $920 was reported from the 600 block of South Union Street.
