Amber Miller had a strong day for the Tigers. She took first place on vault (9.225), fourth on bars (7.95) and sixth on floor exercise (8.55). She was third in the all-around (33.225).
“I thought it was a good meet,” Northwestern coach Ashley Miller said, noting the performances of Miller, Hannah Bilodeau and Payton Gross as highlights. “[Bilodeau] was injured in Thursday’s meet, but she still pushed through and finished strong [Saturday]. I was proud of her for doing that for herself and for her team.
“I’m so proud of Amber. It’s her senior year and she was able to win vault. That was very exciting for her and the team.”
The Tiger coach noted Gross had her best score on vault.
