Girls hoops squads set for final week

The girls basketball regular season is down to its final week. Kokomo closes with a pair of tough games — at defending Class 4A state champion North Central tonight, and at home against Class 4A No. 10-ranked Westfield on Thursday.

This week also offers a pair of Howard County-vs.-Tipton County clashes. Class 2A No. 7 Eastern visits Tri-Central tonight, and Class 3A No. 8 Western hosts Tipton on Wednesday.

Boys basketball week kicks off tonight

The boys basketball schedule offers a pair of games tonight ahead of a busy slate of weekend games that includes conference clashes on Friday. North Central Conference leader Kokomo entertains Huntington North on Friday while Mid-Indiana Conference leader Peru has a home date with Lewis Cass.
