Taylor coach Denise Leicht noted her squad had a good effort against the visiting Golden Eagles.

“I was very pleased with the way the team came out and played [Tuesday]. We played as team and made a lot of plays we hadn’t been making. It was nice to see them have fun and be excited with their play. This is what we have been looking for, now we just have to make it consistent,” she said.

Leicht noted “Ashleigh Till played her best match of the season, leading the team in serve reception chances. She also added four kills and four blocks to go with eight service points.”

Valary Farmer had a team-high 10 points.
