YOUTH HUNTING RESULTS
Last weekend marked Indiana’s special youth-only deer hunting season. Taking one of our nation’s most sought after big game species is a sizable outdoor accomplishment, one worthy of recognition. Congratulations to the kids who encountered success. Here are the names of area children who, accompanied by an adult, were fortunate in taking deer.
These names were provided by our area’s state approved check-in stations, which include Bryant’s Outdoor Store, Simpson’s Deer Processing and U.S. 31 Bait and Tackle.
Successful sportsmen and women now have several avenues in which game can be checked-in, this may not include taking your deer or turkey to a physical location. It can also be completed online or even by phone. If you have encountered success and checked in your game, maybe in another county or by one of the electronic means, please feel free to contact me for inclusion in this column.
