”Our girls played a very hard-fought five sets,” Maconaquah coach Jessica Metcalf said. “I was impressed with out intensity and scrappy play. We were able to get balls up that three or four weeks ago probably would have hit the floor. It is always disappointing to go out in a hard-fought game with a loss. However, I told the girls that they should be proud of their season. For those girls that are graduating, they need to know what a positive impact they have had on the Maconaquah volleyball program.”
