Dollansky gets hot
Following what he considered a sub-par performance at the Kokomo Speedway last Wednesday, Elk Grove (Minn.) sprint car driver Craig Dollansky caught fire as the STP World of Outlaws concluded their tour through the Midwest.
Just two days after leaving Kokomo, the series visited the 34 Raceway in Burlington (Iowa) and Dollansky simply dominated, picking up his heat race win, then the Dash to determine the top 10 slots in the feature event.
In the feature, he led from green to checkered to post the win over second-place Paul McMahan and third-place Joey Saldana. Donny Schatz was fourth and Tim Kaeding, the winner at Kokomo, fifth.
