Ben Cole won a pair of individual events to lead the way. He was tops in the 300 intermediate hurdles (:48.37) and long jump (17-2 1/2).
Also winning individual events were: Cole Walker (110 high hurdles, :22.37); Noah Aaron (100 dash, :11.71); Trevor Buchanan (1,600 run, 5:42.55); Levi Bramel (discus, 100-10); Konner Wyant (shot put, 36-4 1/2); Braden Evans (high jump, 5-4); Evan Hursh (800 run, 2:24.18); Matt Kerner (3,200 run, 12:24.46); Joshua Sommers (200 dash, :23.62); and Austin Bergman (400 dash, 1:00.33).
Buchanan, Brenton Cherry, Hursh and Dalton Ryan won the 4x800 relay in 10:06.84. Cole, Walker, Evans and Kerner won the 4x100 in :50.9. And Kevin Zheng, Cherry, Ryan and Buchanan won the 4x400 in 4:09.
“This is one of my favorite meets because I get to see some young guys do really well and the older guys are always there to cheer them on,” Eastern coach Austin Roark said.

Sydnie Hill won three individual events and Arienna Ewing and Elyssa DeAngulo won two apiece to lead the Comets’ sweep of first-place finishes.
Hill was tops in long jump (15-0), 400 dash (1:07.7) and 800 run (3:06.7). Ewing won the 100 hurdles (:17.2) and 300 hurdles (:58.8). DeAngulo won the 1,600 run (7:13.4) and 3,200 run (15:34.3).
Also winning individual events were: Danielle Reed (shot put, 32-5 3/4); Brooke Haalck (100 dash, :13.5); Alicia Eckart (high jump, 4-6); Jenny Keith (discus, 98-2); and Maya Valadez (200 dash, :29.5).
Lea Byers, Mengyuan Zhu, Krissi Anders and Heidi Cranor won the 4x800 relay in 15:42.7. Kaylee Gebhart, Melanie Nicholson, Ewing and Haalck won the 4x100 in 55.1. And Eckart, Hill, Valadez and Ewing won the 4x400 in 4:57.8.
