GIRLS BB: TC girls get past Clinton Central

— MICHIGANTOWN — Tri-Central’s girls basketball team improved to 10-6 overall and stayed undefeated in the Hoosier Heartland Conference with a 59-43 victory over Clinton Central Saturday night.
Clinton Central (5-10) had a brief lead of 7-6 at the end of the first quarter, but TC turned on the jets in the second quarter, outscoring CC 20-9 for a 26-16 halftime lead. The Trojans never looked back after that.
Kelly Walter led TC with 19 points. Amber Suiters and Sarah Adams each had 12, and Haley Hewitt added 11 for the Trojans.
