Richard “Ryan” Johnson and Kristen Nicole Greenburg were married in a double ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. July 28, 2007, at First Baptist Church, Galveston, by the Rev. Warren Purcell.
Richard is the son of John and LuAnne Johnson, Galveston. He graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 2000 and graduated from Indiana University in 2006 with a business degree. He is employed at Game Crazy.
Kristen is the daughter of Steve and Carol Greenburg, Galveston. He graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 2000 and from Purdue University in 2004 with a degree in elementary education. She is employed at Western Primary School as a kindergarten teacher.
The maid of honor was Brianne Greenburg; bridesmaids were Gretchen Longfellow, Erica Johnson and Jessica Shepler; best man was Randy Bennett; groomsmen were Matt Myers, Andy Dalton and Robbie Overstreet; ushers were Matt Truesdell, Andrew Truesdell, Cody Scott and Joey Miller.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple resides in Galveston.
