Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Downey (Ashley Harris)

Daniel William Downey and Ashley Renee Harris were married on Sept. 22, 2007 at North United Methodist Church, Indianapolis, by the Rev. Lisa Schubert and James Martin.
Daniel is the son of Joel and Nancy Downey, Kokomo. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 2002 and from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in 2006 with bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He was also a second lieutenant in the Indiana Army National Guard. He is employed as an electrical engineer at Crane Navel Surface Warfare Center, Indianapolis.
Ashley is the daughter of Richard and Teresa Harris, Indianapolis. She graduated from Park Tudor, Indianapolis, in 2003 and from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. She is employed as a scientist at Roche Diagnostics, Indianapolis.
The maid of honor was Linsey Rogers; bridesmaids were Veronica Lytle, Jennifer Harris, Heather Harris, Ashley L. Harris and Megan Downey; flower girls were Abigail and Lillian Harris; best man was Scott Schlegal; groomsmen were Christopher Harris, Ryan Harris, Michael Harris, Nicholas Teqtmeyer, Luke Walker and Keagan Downey; and ringbearer was Kaleb Harris. After a cruise of the Hawaiian Islands, the couple resides in Indianapolis.
