Robert Mark Sloan and Rae Jean Lee Hibschman were married at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8, 2007, at College Wesleyan Church, Marion, by Dr. Harold E. Bardsley, uncle of the bride.
Robert is the son and stepson of Jacqueline and Philip Kellogg, Marion, and the late Robert V. Sloan Jr., Gas City. He graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1982, from CTC, Fort Wayne, in 1987 and Indiana University Kokomo in 2002. He also served in the U.S. Navy and is employed at Chrysler Transmission.
Rae Jean is the daughter of Annabelle Hibschman and the late James R. Hibschman, Greentown. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1990 and attended Indiana Wesleyan University. She is employed as a substitute teacher.
The matron of honor was Angie Herring, friend of bride; bridesmaids were Lori Burns and Missy Hensley, friends of bride; best man was Dan Galen, friend of groom; groomsmen were Steve Sloan, brother of groom, and Tracy Kilgore, brother-in-law of groom; ushers were Zach Bardsley and Nate Woods, cousins of bride; and ring bearer was James Michael Hibschman, nephew of bride.
After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World and a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Kokomo.
