Mr. and Mrs. Adam Jacobs (Julie Nielander)
Adam Joseph Jacobs and Julie Ann Nielander were married in a double ring candlelight ceremony at 2 p.m. Aug. 4, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kokomo, by Father Jeff Largent, cousin of the bride.
Adam is the son of Jeff and Kim Hatcher, Kokomo, and Robert Jacobs Jr., Kokomo. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1999 and plans to graduate from Indiana State University in May of 2008 with a degree in sports management. He is employed with the Monticello Fire Department.
Julie is the daughter of Theresa Nielander, Kokomo, and Patrick Nielander, Columbus. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 2000 and from Indiana State University in 2004. She is attending the University of Indianapolis to earn a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
The maid of honor was Jan Nielander, sister of bride; bridesmaids were Tracie Betz, cousin of bride, Amanda Nichols, sister of groom, Courtney Parsons, friend of bride, and Alyssa Lozier, friend of couple; junior bridesmaid was Brittany Lawson, friend of bride; flower girl was Makayla Ennis, friend of bride; best man was Travis Lozier, friend of couple; groomsmen were Jacob Buck, cousin of groom, Jeremy Dunn, Zach Armstrong and Matt Armstrong, friends of groom; ushers were Tim Nichols, brother-in-law of groom and Tim Galati, friend of groom; ring bearer was Kayden Nichols, nephew of groom; and bell ringers are Radlee Besser and Bodee Besser, cousins of bride.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Lafayette.
