Christopher D. Wallace and Michelle Payton were married at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 22, 2007, at Indian Heights Baptist Church, Kokomo, by Cindy Wallace, sister-in-law of groom. A reception was held at the church.
Christopher is the son of Linda Wallace, Kokomo. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1993 and from William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Miss., in 1997. He is employed in direct care support at Opportunities for Positive Growth, Inc., Noblesville.
Michelle is the daughter of Larry and Carolyn Payton, Indianapolis. She graduated from Perry Meridian High School, Indianapolis, in 1993 and plans to graduate from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis with a degree in social work in 2010. She is a documenter for the training and development department at Conseco Insurance, Carmel.
The maid of honor was Jennifer Lowe, friend of bride; junior bridesmaid was Kelsey Lowe, friend of bride; best man was Robert Wallace, brother of groom; junior groomsman was Daniel Wallace, nephew of groom; and ring bearer was Thomas Wallace, nephew of groom.
After a late summer wedding trip to Disney World, compliments of Robert and Cindy Wallace, the couple resides in Indianapolis.
