Mr. and Mrs. John Mullett (Emily Layman)

John Nicholas “Nick” Mullett and Emily Grace Layman were married at 4:30 p.m. April 5, 2008, at Community Church at Murphy’s Landing, Indianapolis, by Pastor Paul Enry. A reception followed at Piper’s Grand Manor, Indianapolis.

Nick is the son of John and Kristie Mullett, Greentown. He graduated from Eastern Jr./Sr. High School in 1999. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2003 and earned his master’s degree from Indiana University Kokomo in 2004. He is a diabetes care specialist at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals.

Emily is the daughter of Cheryl Layman, Indianapolis, and the late Danny Layman. She graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 2002 and from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree. She is a diabetes care specialist at Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals.

The maid of honor was Sarah Layman, sister of bride; bridesmaids were Sarah Lindstrom, Ashley Wilson, Misti Gray and Jennifer Morrison, all friends of bride; best man was Aaron Mullett, brother of groom; groomsmen were Lee Sommers, DJ Graf, Adam Kasamis and Justin Novinger, all friends of groom and ushers were Jake Medlen and Chris Quakenbush, friends of groom.

After a wedding trip to Sandals Dunn’s River Villagio Golf Resort and Spa, Jamaica, the couple resides in Indianapolis.
