Mr. and Mrs. Austin Smith (Courtney Leah Martin)

Austin Robert Smith and Courtney Leah Martin were married in a traditional ceremony at 4 p.m. May 24, 2008, at First Baptist Church, Kokomo, by the Rev. Warren K. Purcell and the bride’s father, the Rev. Paul A. Martin. A formal dinner reception was held at the Continental Ballroom.

Austin is the son of M. Duane and Kathy Butt and the late Robert G. Smith, Brazil, Ind. He graduated from Northview High School in 2000 and from Indiana State University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed as a sales representative.

Courtney is the daughter of Paul and Beth Martin, Kokomo. She graduated from Western High School in 2001 and Ball State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and marketing. She is a sales representative for Cintas Corporation.

The maid of honor was Alicia Pacini, friend of bride; bridesmaids were Leah DiBussolo, cousin of bride, Ashley Zavella, sister of groom, and Kendyle Siefert, Brandi Parker, Darcy Brooks and Jennifer Tackett, friends of the bride; flower girl was Kate Francis, cousin of groom; best man was Andrew Buschur, friend of groom; groomsmen were Geoffrey Martin, brother of bride, Monte Edwards Ryan Keller, Mark Myers, Ryan Bates and Aaron Crawn, all friends of groom; and ring bearer was Sammy Francis, cousin of groom.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Noblesville.
