Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Root (Teri Jones)
Zachary Nathan Root and Teri LaNae Jones were married in a double ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. July 26, 2008, at Calvary Baptist Church, Kokomo, by Pastor Demetrius Warren.
Zachary is the son of Nathan and Carol Root, Kokomo. He graduated with honors from Kokomo High School in 2003 and attended Purdue University. He is a tool crib attendant at Fairfield Manufacturing.
Teri is the daughter of Jimmy and Marcia Waldon, Kokomo. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 2002 and plans to attend the nursing program at Ivy Tech this fall. She is a restorative aide at Northwoods Village.
The maid of honor was Monica Graves, friend of bride; bridesmaids were Rashawnda Jones, sister of bride, Heather Root, sister of groom, and Phyllis Steward, friend of bride; flower girls were Aaliyah Harmon, niece of bride, and Dai-sha Clark, cousin of bride; best man was Eric Fink, friend of groom; groomsmen were Sunny Chism, Matthew Smalley and AndrŽ Vaughn, friends of groom; honorary groomsmen were Simon Dempsey and Patrick Burns, both serving in Iraq; ring bearer was Bronson Smith, cousin of bride; ushers were Cory Jones, cousin of bride, and Eric Nelson, friend of bride, and junior usher was Devin Washington-Jones, nephew of bride.
After a wedding trip to Brown County, the couple resides in Russiaville.
