Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mays (Chassity Weist)

— Michael Mays and Chassity Weist were wed at 3 p.m. July 21, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, by Father Ron Zgunda. A reception followed at Knights of Columbus, Princeton.
Chassity is the daughter of Jan and Craig Weist, Princeton. She graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1999 and from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse for the heart team’s surgical group at Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis.
Michael is the son of Kate Mays, Kokomo. He graduated from Western High School in 2000 and from Indiana University with a degree in kinesiology. He teaches middle school health and physical education and coaches football and basketball at Danville Community Schools in Danville.
The maid of honor was C.J. Weist, sister of the bride; matron of honor was Stephanie Abbosh; bridesmaids were Lori Wronowicz, Angela Mays, Laura Mays and Michelle Runyon; junior bridesmaid was Kacee Kons, cousin of the groom. The best man was Matthew Mays, brother of the groom; groomsmen were David Shaw, Aden Stout, Matt Mueller, Nick Courts and Randolfo Velasco; ring bearer was Don Curtis III, cousin of the bride; ushers were Eric Turner, Javier Morena and Brad Wright.
After a trip to Mexico, the couple resides in Avon.
