— Josh Jacobs and Sarah Deane Johnson were married at 5:30 p.m. June 22, 2007, at Cherry Hills Baptist Church, Springfield, Ill., by the Revs. Jim Jacobs and Gary Nelson. A reception followed at Inn at 835 in Springfield.
He is the son of Jim and Carolyn Jacobs, Kokomo. He graduated from Kokomo High School, from Millikin University, Decatur, Ill., in 2002, and from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, Calif., in 2005. He is a special projects coordinator for the president, Murray State University.
She is the daughter of Barry and Pam Johnson, Springfield, Ill.. She graduated from Springfield High School in 2001 and Millikin University in 2005. She is a graduate student/assistant at Murray State University.
The matron of honor was Julie Hart; bridesmaids were Erika Cornelius and Jennifer Harmon; flower girls were Jane Hart and Emily Standley. The best man was Luke Bills; groomsmen were RJ Podeschi and Jason Logue.
After a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple resides in Murray, Ky.
