Mr. and Mrs. Bales (Stephanie Haak)

— Jason Bales and Stephanie Haak were married at 3:30 p.m. July 28, 2007, at Main Street United Methodist Church, Kokomo, by pastor Mike Turner. A reception followed at Rozzi’s Continental Ballroom.
He is the son of Jim Bales, Kokomo, and Judy Bales, Windfall. He graduated from Tri-Central High School in 1998 and from Indiana University Kokomo in 2006. He is an instructional assistant at Sheridan High School.
She is the daughter of David and Julia Haak, Sharpsville. She graduated from Tri-Central High School in 2003 and from Purdue University in 2007. She is a student at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, studying radiation therapy.
The matron of honor was Holly Hartman, friend of the bride; bridesmaids were Abbi Kottlowski, Erin Edwards, Kathy Pycinska, Mary Sutliff, and Danielle Bishop, all friends of the bride; the flower girl was Allison Haak, cousin of the bride. The best man was Brad Horner, friend of the bride, groomsmen were Rob Bales, brother of the groom, Cory Dunn, cousin of the groom, Brett Roler, friend of the groom, Josh Bales, nephew of the groom, and Eric Haak, brother of the bride.
After a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Windfall.
