So nice they married twice!
Deitrich Banschbach and Menee Purvis married Feb. 17, 2007, and again in front of family and friends Sept. 1, 2007. Both ceremonies were led by Pastor Don Campbell at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ in Rising Sun, where the couple now resides.
Deitrich, as Army Reservist currently employed by AEP of Lawrenceburg, is the son of Dee Dee Helton and Rick Banschbach of Rising Sun. He is a 2001 Rising Sun High School graduate and a 2002 Lincoln Tech graduate.
Menee is currently employed by Omnicare in Covington, Ky., and is the daughter of Larry and Susan Purvis of Kempton. She is a 1999 graduate of Clinton Central High School and a 2004 Purdue University graduate.
The maid of honor was Lexi Atkisson, friend of the bride; bridesmaids were Rachel Phelps, friend of the bride, and Darcey and Lauren Deisch, cousins of the bride. Best man was Ryan Brett, and groomsmen were Dustin York, Rob Sharp and Joe Carrigan, friends of the groom. Flower girls were Abbie Phelps and Grace Atkisson. Ringbearer was Eli Helton, brother of the groom. Kilah Banschbach, sister of the groom, greeted and registered guests. Music was by pianist Adam Purvis, brother of the bride, and harpist Darlene Walton, friend of the couple.
