Fred Gieseke and Millie Pendland were married at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 29, 2007, at Christian Life Fellowship Church by the Rev. Logan Sparling. A dinner reception was held in the fellowship hall, featuring live music from friends of the bride and the groom.
She is employed by Sagamore Council, Boy Scouts of America, Kokomo. He is retired from Delco Electronics and the U.S. Air Force and is part owner of Giesecke RV, Kokomo.
The matron of honor was Ione Hoover, friend of bride. The best man was Dan Gieseke, son of groom. The bride was given away by her brother, Carl Simms. Attendants were Pamela Batey, Sandra Wisler and Rhonda Thomson, daughters of the bride; Teresa Graber, Carol Rosner, Diana Gieseke, daughters of groom, and Sue Gieseke, daughter-in-law of groom.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Branson, Mo., and will reside in the Kokomo area.
