Jonas Walker and Barbara Bundy were married in a civil ceremony at 4 p.m. Aug. 18, 2007, at the home of the bride’s parents in Anchorage, Alaska, by Achorage Probate Master, Jack Duggan.
Jonas is the son of Dr. Michael and Diana Walker, Kokomo. He graduated from the Indiana Academy for Science Mathematics and Humanities, Muncie, and attended Earlham College, where he received a bachelor’s degree. He also graduated from law school at the University of Minnesota in 2004. He is currently an attorney at Smith and Hennessey, PLLC, Seattle.
Barbara is the daughter of Robert Bundy and Bonnie Lembo, Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated from West High School, Anchorage, Alaska. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, master’s degree from the University of Arkansas and her doctorate in 2005 from the University of Oregon. She is an archaeologist with the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The maid of honor was Kathy Bundy, sister of the bride. The best man was Andrew Walker, brother of the groom.
After a wedding trip in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, the couple resides in Seattle.
