Jay Hanson and Sondra Frantz were married at sunset on Nov. 23, 2007, on the beach in Mexico Beach, Fla., by Johanna White, Notary. Family was in attendance at the wedding.
Sondra is the daughter of Gary and Connie Frantz, Markle. She graduated from Blackford High School, Hartford City, in 2005.
Jay is the son of Rick Hanson, Kokomo, and Margaret Riley, Tallahassee, Fla. He graduated from Western High School in 1996 and from Ivy Tech, Muncie, in 2005. Jay is employed by McDonald Construction, Montpelier, and is an EMT.
The couple had the reception at the El Governor Hotel, Mexico Beach Fla., at their tiki hut patio. They spent their honeymoon at various locations in Florida. The couple resides in the Montpelier area.
