Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wheeler (Lisa Rogers)

Michael Kent Wheeler and Lisa Diane Rogers were married in a traditional ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19, 2007, in Kokomo, by Pastor Bill Salsberry.

Michael is the son of Virginia Brown, Kokomo. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1969 and attended police and FBI academy. He is employed at the Kokomo City Police Department, where has served as a captain for 27 years.

Lisa is the daughter of Richard and Jeanne Cooper, Kokomo. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1978 and from beauty college in 1979. She has been the owner and operator of Lisa’s Scissor Shack for 25 years.

The maid of honor was Courtney Sullivan; bridesmaids were Morgan and MaKenzie Rogers, and Tabby Elrod; best man was David Wheeler; and the groomsmen were Jeremy and Adam Sullivan.

The couple resides in Kokomo.
