Tammy Lynn Hicks and John Michael LaDue were married at 6:30 p.m. June 15, 2012, at Oakbrook Community Church by Pastor Mark Malin. A reception followed at the church.
She is the daughter of Jean Hicks, Kokomo, and the daughter and stepdaughter of Tony and Deb Hicks, Somerset. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008 with an administrative license. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She is a teacher at Kokomo-Center Schools.
He is the son of Holly Ulrich, Fishers, and the son and stepson of Brian and Nancy LaDue, Kokomo. He graduated from Western High School and attended ITT and Ivy Tech. He is an employee at Atkore International.
The maid of honor was Erica Edgar, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Faith LaDue, daughter of the groom, and Debbie McKinley, friend of the bride and groom. The flower girl was Bethany Loveless, friend of the bride and groom.
The best man was Brian LaDue, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Gavin LaDue, son of the groom, and Jim McKinley, friend of the bride and groom.
After a trip to Key West, Fla., the couple resides in Kokomo.
