Lindsay Marie Ragole and Joseph Anthony Konopa were married at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 21, 2013, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Chantilly, Va., by the Rev. Father Stephen Schultz and Deacon Stephen Duquaine, cousin of the groom. A reception followed at Bull Run Golf Club.
She is the daughter of Joseph and Susan Ragole, Centreville, Va. She is a 2009 graduate of Westfield High School and a 2013 graduate of James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., as an English major. She is working at FOCUS headquarters in Denver, Colo., as a FOCUS missionary.
He is the son of James and Kathleen Konopa, Kokomo. He is a 2006 graduate of Our Lady of the Rosary Homeschool and a 2010 graduate of Ball State University, with a telecommunications major. He is working at FOCUS headquarters as a recruitment manager.
The matron of honor was Danielle Wood, sister of the bride, and the maid of honor was Lacey Armbruster. Bridesmaids were Katie Ragole, sister of the bride, Ashley Spaulding, Morgan Stiebel, Caroline Saur and Emily Rapavi. Junior bridesmaid was Bridget Konopa, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Macie Ellner and Isabel Bausch, both cousins of the bride.
The best man was Andrew Norton. Groomsmen were Matthew Ragole, brother of the bride, Craig Pytleski, Keegan O’Rourke, Billy White, Eric Peat and Casey Fish. Ring bearers were Jerome Konopa, brother of the groom, and Miles Ellner, the bride’s cousin.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Estes Park, Colo., and Steamboat Springs, Colo. They reside in Arvada, Colo.
