Car - Pole Accident 01.jpg

A single vehicle accident injured one person and took down power lines on 350 North between 200 and 300 West on Monday morning Nov. 25, 2019. The red Chevy Cobalt wrapped around a utility pole just behind the driver, trapping him inside. He was awake and talking with firefighers complaining of pain in the shoulder. Until power was cut from the high voltage power lines that surrounded the car, rescuers were unable to cut him out. Power was cut after about 30 minutes with about 15 minutes to cut him out before he was transported by air helicopter to St. Vincent in Indianapolis.
