Jacqlyn Margaret Hicks and Dakota William Sprague were married at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 4, 2017, at Young America Center United Methodist Church. Pastor John D. Newman officiated.
Guests were registered by Ali Hartey, Kokomo, friend of the bride, and music for the ceremony was performed by harpist Julia Jones, Logansport. A dinner reception for 200 guests was at Celebrations Banquet & Conference Facility, Kokomo. All flower arrangements were designed by Sabrina Hicks, aunt of the bride, from the Zionsville Flower Co.
She is the daughter of Melvis and Susan Hicks Jr., Galveston. She is an honors graduate of the University of Indianapolis and has a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis.
He is the son of Kline and Carrie Sprague, Camden. He is a law enforcement officer in Marion County.
The maid of honor was Gabi Hartley, Kokomo, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brittany Newsom, Indianapolis, friend of the bride; Taylor Cotherman, Carmel, friend of the bride; and Lexa Sprague, Camden, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Kaylie Neal, Kokomo, cousin of the groom.
The best man was Kyle Hughes, Henderson, Nevada, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Braden Sprague, Camden, brother of the groom; Gary Fordyce, Galveston, friend of the groom; and Brad White, Young America, friend of the groom. Ushers were Justin Hicks, Greentown, brother of the bride; Aaron Benedict, Burnettsville, cousin of the bride; and Kiel Ulery, Peru, cousin of the bride. Ring Bearers were Xzavier Jones, Logansport, cousin of the bride; and Kail Neal, Kokomo, cousin of the groom.
The couple’s honeymoon was at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The newlyweds live in Indianapolis.
