Lapel celebrates girls basketball state runners-up
The Bulldogs were welcomed home by an appreciative group of parents, classmates and administrators following their 38-37 loss to Forest Park in the Class 2A state championship game on Saturday.

The Lapel girls basketball team's Cinderella run to the Class 2A tournament final ended with a 38-37 loss to Forest Park, but that didn't diminish the pride fans expressed and the appreciation they had for the special ride the Lady Bulldogs took them on.
