WALTON — The Walton Public Library will reopen its doors 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 2. Patrons will notice some changes.

GREENTOWN — The Greentown Children’s Library invites children to walk along Main and Meridian streets in Greentown in June and July to read a fairy tale story in the store windows.

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana reports it is now in dire need of blood donations. With each day that passes, the need for life-saving blood at Hoosier hospitals escalates. That need has now been elevated to critical as blood donations have not met hospital demands in the past few days.

WALTON — Walton Public Library’s Instant Digital Card enables Cass County residents to read popular ebooks and audiobooks for free.

INDIANAPOLIS — Effective 9 a.m. May 18, the Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices located in Indianapolis, Mishawaka and Evansville will re-open, by appointment only, for in-person redemption of prizes of $600 or more. Prizes up to $599 may be redeemed at Hoosier Lottery retailers.

Police are asking the public for help in locating two individuals after a 4-year-old girl was taken to a medical facility with severe burns.
