Students in the Maconaquah High School Performing Arts Center will present two different productions this weekend, "Stressed" and "Murder By Indecision."
In "Stressed," four characters driven crazy by stress — for Alex, it's school; for Josh, it's his girlfriend; for Carmen, it's dealing with her coach. And Mindy's frustrated with her parents.
Cast members for the "Stressed" production include Chelsea Yockey (Carmen), Arian Mock (Mindy), Seth Sparks (Alex) and Noah McCrary (Josh).
In "Murder By Indecision," age is catching up with the world renown mystery playwright, Agatha Crispy. She struggles to write out a new mystery as the words just aren't flowing. It's even harder with her agent, Ruth Less, showing up at her house and pestering her. Her characters come to life whenever she is not around and discuss how Agatha is ruining their reputation in the literary world. If only they could influence Agatha somehow to help her and themselves. Any fan of classic Agatha Christie mysteries will love this delightful spoof!
Cast members include Anna Duke (Agatha Crispy), Jacklyn Davies (Ruth Less), Ryan Daine (Victor Greedly), Gabriel King (Ken Steele), Dri Hall (Gwen Hubbard), Sarah Bingham (Sophie Greedly), Jeana Friedersdorf (Victoria Greedly), Trentyn Toney (William Greedly), Nicko Custin (Niles Stern), Brooke Howay (Mavis Greedly), Stevee Judy (Miss Maple), Lynae Mast (Penelope Biggles), Kourtni Morris (Myrna Stern), Susanna Archuleta (Jenny Walters), Noah McCrary (Inspector John Dryfus), Travis Kitts (Officer Bently) and Chelsea Yockey (Melissa Hammerstein).
Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $5 in advance, which can be purchased from cast members of Ann Hileman at email@example.com. At the door, tickets are $7 for ages 13 and older, and $5 for children under the age of 12.
