The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library invites families to experience a powerful portrayal of Harriet Tubman’s life.

During the program, “A Live Re-enactment: The Story of Harriet Tubman” by Doris Tudor, those who attend will gain insights into the horror of slavery, and the bravery of escaping and leading others to freedom.

The program is from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Main Branch, 220 N. Union St.
