46. First Friday

Designed as an opportunity to interact with Kokomo’s artists, entrepreneurs, musicians and restaurateurs, First Friday is a cost-efficient way to experience the downtown district’s most exciting artistic offerings. The event, held the first Friday of each month, has recently hosted the First Friday Film Festival, an Artist Alley art auction, Band Night and numerous restaurant and business grand openings. As a collaboration between the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association, Kokomo Art Association and downtown’s businesses and organizations, First Friday has become a staple for a majority of city residents.

There are several new themes coming to First Friday in 2019, including “Lovin’ Spoonful,” “Movie Night,” “Art Walk,” “Dance Fever,” “Freedom Friday,” and “Masquerade.”

Mark your calendars now and check each First Friday edition of KT Friday for full details.
