Kokomo Curtain Call presents ‘The Snow Queen’
Kokomo Curtain Call children’s theatre will present “The Snow Queen” today and Saturday.
“The Snow Queen,” directed by Pat Brandon, is an original fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. The tale was first published in December 1844 in “New Fairy Tales.” The story centers on the struggle between good and evil as experienced by Gerda and her friend, Kai. The story is one of Andersen's longest and most highly acclaimed stories. It is regularly included in selected tales and collections of his work and is frequently reprinted in illustrated storybook editions for children.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. tonight and 2 p.m. Saturday at Maple Crest Middle School, 2727 S. Washington St.
